The American Advertising Federation – Rio Grande Valley is an affiliate member of the American Advertising Federation headquartered in Washington, D.C. The AAF-RGV is one of more than 220 such professional advertising and marketing federations, representing over 50,000 members nationwide. It is the only professional advertising trade association that encompasses all segments of the industry in its membership, that is, advertising agency, media, supplier, and client. It is this melding of thought that makes the Ad Club special.

The AAF divides its membership into 15 Districts nationwide. The American Advertising Federation – Rio Grande Valley is a member of the AAF’s 10th District. The 10th District represents over 2,000 members in 19 federations in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The District provides organizational help and offers networking between various markets. Statewide, it helps fight legislation that may be unfriendly to advertising.

With nearly 100 members across the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, the AAF-RGV meets monthly.
